The greatest gift of education is knowing that you know nothing. The failure of our education system is that too many graduates have passed through the colleges and universities without ever knowing that they know nothing or at least what they know is only a negligible fraction of our infinite universe. There is a great difference between an education system and an education. An education system is a means to an end – being able to reap material rewards with that piece of paper you earned. An education, on the other hand, is a life-long goal, a final destination. To get there, you should be seeking to improve yourself intellectually and spiritually everyday, and it can be through different channels of life.
I cannot agree enough with your opening salvo! It’s like a little knowledge is dangerous, right? Great post.

I agree that it’s very important to be aware of where our knowledge peters out. I may have been in danger of overestimating my abilities in other fields, but at least when it comes to mathematics I can say that I left high school with a very clear appreciation of the profundity of my ignorance.

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a
tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
